Holiday Soaps are Here

Oh the glory of a soap shop filled with holiday scents...and they are almost done curing!! This year we are offering:

Holiday Sparkle (snowy pine mixed with other familiar holiday smells)

Peppermint Candy Ice Cream (Candy Cane is the real name, but it smells way more creamy and delicious than plain old candy canes)

Sweet Pumpkin Spice - nothing to elaborate on here, what more needs to be said?

Blueberry Muffin - if any of you are batter addicts like me, and can't help but lick the bowl and spoon whenever you make that cheap Blueberry Muffin Mix from Jiffy, then you will love this bar. Smells exactly the same.

Pure Vanilla Extract - Deep, dark brown rich yummy vanilla. Smells just like the bottle of Pure Vanilla in your baking cupboard. Yum!!!

Autumn Apple - Do you like apples? Do you like Cinnamon? Do you like Autumn? Then will like this soap!

Sunny Citrus - who doesn't need a burst of sunny, uplifting citrus this time of year? When the dreary doldrums of winter hit, take this bar to the bath and be cured.

Oatmeal Lavender - Ok, this isn't technically a holiday soap, but it's good enough to be on the list.

Oats & Almond - Ditto.

And just a reminder, all of our handmade gentle soaps are made with a huge helping of nourishing Shea Butter and cream Coconut Milk.

And now what you've all been waiting for, SOAP PICTURES of course! Thanks for visiting, have a great holiday season and enjoy the difference handmade soap makes!!!

Starting Off With...Some New Soaps!

What better way to start off our new blog than with a sneak peek at some of the new soaps just made! These have over a month to cure before they are ready, but I can't resist showing them off now. I will post on my FB page when they are officially available for sale, and will list them on my website and Etsy store for purchase at that time. So...without further ado, here they are!

This is "Lilac Bouquet" - same fragrance as the one we've made before, but new design and with the addition of Coconut Cream and Tussah Silk!

This one is "Honeysuckle" and smells like the real deal...these bars are adorned with Calendula petals and make a beautiful gift or guest soap.

Serendipity Soapworks Now Has a Blog!

Hi everyone, this is Serendipity Soapwork's new blog and the first post! I decided to start writing a blog  so that 1) I don't clutter up my FB page with way too many posts and annoy everybody, 2) so I can keep everyone updated on the latest and greatest soaps as they are fresh out of the mold, and 3) to serve as a reminder to myself what I made and when and how I did it, in case I lose my soap notes :)

I hope you enjoy experiencing with me the creative and exciting journey of handmade soap, I'm sure we'll have some good laughs as I fully intend to post pics of any major "fails" as well as my successes! Thanks so much for joining my blog, please feel free to ask questions, offer advice, or just say "hello"...the only thing not welcome is spam, I'm sure we can all agree on that one. Thanks and enjoy!
